Preamble

    

We the Members of this non-profit organization, fully realizing our responsibility toward our people and our country, are organizing ourselves to uphold the principles of Freedom and Democracy; to support the Constitution of the United States of America; to foster and instill among Assyrians a sense of individual obligation and responsibility for Assyrian unity; to assist or cooperate whenever possible in any program perpetuation our cultural heritage, and we dedicate ourselves to a achieving the aims of this organization. We affirm our allegiance to the United States of America and to its Constitution and laws, at no time shall this group belong to or support any organization which advocates the use of force to subvert or overthrow it.  A.A.C.C.O.T. is dedicated to promoting goodwill and understanding among Assyrians and non-Assyrians alike.  A.A.C.C.O.T subscribes to the principles enunciated by the Assyrians American National Federation, Inc. in the preamble to its constitution. To serve our country at all times; to help secure the welfare of the United States of America, to promote good citizenship among all people; to help maintain prosperity and peace for all its inhabitants.
